So you have defined your standards and performance indicators. But now what? Is designing an instructional unit in a proficiency-based system really any different from the way we’ve been designing units all along?

In this webinar we will outline some of the essential design features of a proficiency-based unit, utilizing the Understanding by Design model developed by Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe. We will also share unit examples from a variety of content areas and provide resources to support participants’ ongoing learning and planning.
