The last thing school leaders need is a 50-page action plan gathering dust on a bookshelf. And yet many school leaders and educators have spent weeks developing and refining action plans, establishing progress benchmarks, and assigning responsibilities, only to have their carefully considered plan largely abandoned and forgotten by October. The solution is not to do away with planning, but to plan more efficiently, pragmatically, and effectively by focusing on the most critical priorities and mapping out a series of achievable goals. After all, an action plan is only as good as the results it achieves, regardless of how ambitious or detailed it may be.
In this webinar, the presenters will share a variety of action-planning strategies that the Great Schools Partnership has developed and refined over a decade of working with public schools. The presenters will also introduce a free online resource developed by the Partnership to help schools simplify and optimize the action-planning process.
