Do You Know Maine Education?: Reflecting on a Decade of Progress
This presentation was delivered by Duke Albanese and David Ruff on June 26, 2008, at the Celebrating High School Redesign in Maine conference at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine. The slideshow provides an overview of high-school-improvement efforts in Maine since Promising Futures: A Call to Improve Learning for Maine's Secondary Students was published in 1998. The presentation also highlights several success stories from the Great Maine Schools Project, a five-year high-school-redesign intiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that came to an end in June 2008.
