Engage, reflect, and improve your school this summer—with guidance from our coaches.
The Great Schools Partnership is hosting our first-ever Summer Retreat—an engaging, reflective, and results-oriented opportunity to work with our coaches on your choice of topics and/or problems of practice.
School and district teams of all levels are welcome to attend! Whether your focus is community engagement, culture and climate, effective instruction, competency, or another area of school improvement, our Summer Retreat can set your school or district up for success.

9:30 a.m. | School-Based Group Work – Establish goals for two days of work. |
| 10:30 a.m. | Break |
| 10:45 a.m. | An Introduction to Community Engagement |
| 12:00 p.m. | Lunch |
| 1:00 p.m. | School-Based Group Work or Break-Out Sessions (based on need) – Work on action planning in school-based teams. – Work with a GSP coach to learn more about an area of need. |
2:00 p.m. | School-Based Group Work or Break-Out Sessions (based on need) – Work on action planning in school-based teams. – Work with a GSP coach in a “Thought Partnership” to critique, tune, revise, or improve an element of your work-in-progress. |
| 3:00 p.m. | Team Reflection – Reflect on goals established at the beginning of the day. – Set team agenda/outcome for day two. |

| 10:15 a.m. | School-Based Group Work – Work with a GSP coach in a “Thought Partnership” to critique, tune, revise, or improve an element of your work-in-progress. – Work with another school-based team and a GSP coach to peer review an element of your work-in-progress. |

| 12:45 p.m. | Tuning Sessions or School-Based Group Work (based on need) |
1:45 p.m. | School-Based Group Work – Finalize action planning based on peer feedback. |
| 3:15 p.m. | Feedback and Debrief |
Pricing
The cost of our Summer Retreat is $2,850 for a team of four teachers, school leaders, community members, or even students. Want to bring a larger team? Great! It’s only $150 for each additional member.
Your registration fee includes:
- Direct support from a Great Schools Partnership coach
- Participation in all sessions
- All resources and materials
- A light breakfast and lunch each day ( and an endless supply of coffee!)
