This event will celebrate the achievements of Cohort 4—Middletown Public Schools, CT; The Consolidated School District of New Britain, CT; and Project LEARN, Lowell, MA—as they prepare to transition out of the Nellie Mae Education Foundation (NMEF) community-engagement initiative. In addition to learning from an informal showcase by the outgoing communities, participants will interact with resources and strategies to apply in their own engagement work at home. Through Great Schools Partnership- and/or community-led sessions and facilitated work time, participants also will have hands-on opportunities to refine their vision and plans for sustaining their engagement efforts over time. This event is open to all initiative participants (including exited sites) and is especially appropriate for communities that have recently or are about to sunset in the NMEF community-engagement initiative.
