Great Schools Partnership – Summer Retreat

The Great Schools Partnership is hosting our first-ever Summer Retreat—an engaging, reflective, and results-oriented opportunity to work with our coaches on your choice of topics and/or problems of practice.

School and district teams of all levels are welcome to attend! Whether your focus is community engagement, culture and climate, effective instruction, competency, or another area of school improvement, our Summer Retreat can set your school or district up for success.

Pricing

The cost of our Summer Retreat is $2,850 for a team of four teachers, school leaders, community members, or even students. Want to bring a larger team? Great! It’s only $150 for each additional member.

Your registration fee includes:

  1. Direct support from a Great Schools Partnership coach
  2. Participation in all sessions
  3. All resources and materials
  4. A light breakfast and lunch each day ( and an endless supply of coffee!)

Location & Lodging

The Summer Retreat will be held July 15 & 16, 2019, at Westbrook Middle School. The address is 471 Stroudwater Street, Westbrook, ME 04092. Summer may be hot, but don’t worry; all workspaces will be air-conditioned.

Please note that all school teams are responsible for their own overnight accommodation. For your convenience, we have include a list of area hotels. The sooner you book, the better; Maine is a popular destination in the summer.

Register

It pays to register early for the Summer Retreat. Registration is limited to 10 school teams and closes Friday, June 14, 2019.

Cancellation Policy

Non-Emergency – If you cannot attend the event you may transfer your registration to another attendee or request a refund. Refund requests for cancellations must be received via email two weeks prior to the event date. The full amount paid minus a 10% processing fee will be refunded. Transfers can be made without penalty at any time, however, we cannot guarantee name changes on materials. No refund will be issued for cancellations received within two weeks of the event, unless in accordance with the Emergency Policy below.

Emergency Refunds may be granted within two weeks of the event if an attendee is unable to attend due to the death of an immediate family member, hospitalization, or other extraordinary circumstance. Refunds will still be subject to the 10% processing fee. All emergency refund requests must be received no later than two weeks after the event conclusion.

All cancellations and requests for transfer must be sent in writing via email.
