Just in Time Session #7—Reopening Schools Equitably: Centering Authentic Student and Teacher Relationships

Join us for a session focused on ensuring that student-student and student-educator relationships are at the heart of your school as you prepare to open for the 2021-22 school year. During this session, participants will reflect on the important role that authentic relationships and a sense of belonging play in students’ academic and personal development. Participants will also explore ways to ensure that relationship building and developing a sense of belonging are at the center of their school design for the 2021-2022 school year.

What is the format?
This session, which will be conducted virtually via Zoom, will include interactive small-group discussions. We will not be recording this session.

Who should attend?
This session is designed to make space for school-based educators, especially those on planning teams, to consider how to put student and staff relationships and a sense of belonging at the heart of their school in 2021-22.
