About | Schedule | Pricing & Inclusions | Register

With the support of the Great Schools Partnership and peer educators from across the state, your school or district team will engage in a series of collaborative and site-specific events to design interdisciplinary assessment tasks aligned to Rhode Island’s graduation proficiencies, performance indicators, and scoring criteria. The development of these tasks will not only deepen your learning, but will also help your school or district transition from theory to implementation.

About

Over the past three years, educators from across Rhode Island have worked together to build a proficiency-based learning framework. This collaborative effort, called the Rhode Island Learning Champions, involved the creation of graduation proficiencies, performance indicators, scoring criteria, and so much more. As this project came to an end, participant feedback was clear: Continued support is necessary to put this framework into action.*

The Rhode Island Proficiency Design Series is an opportunity for your school or district to implement a personalized, proficiency-based system of learning through the creation of interdisciplinary, performance-based assessments.

*School or district teams who did not participate in the Rhode Island Learning Champions are more than welcome to join us for the Rhode Island Proficiency Design Series. Check out much of the past work here
