Shifting to a proficiency-based graduation system has implications for the design and content of transcripts. The Great Schools Partnership—through its work with the New England Secondary School Consortium—is working to develop exemplar transcripts and school profiles. Constructed in collaboration with college-admissions officers, the transcript and profile provide thoughtful guidance and modeling for school districts to consider.
This webinar will provide participants with a set of general principles they can use to design their system for reporting the summative academic record of an individual student heading to college or the workforce. Participants will receive helpful samples they can bring back to their faculties.
