Cary Olson-Cartwright
Assistant Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility, Unum
After graduating from the University of Maine with a journalism degree, I began my career at WCSH television in Portland, Maine. I then joined Fleet Bank of Maine as the community relations manager working with nonprofits throughout the state. In 2004, I joined Unum to oversee the community relations efforts. The primary focus on Unum’s charitable giving is education, and we work with organizations in our home office sites throughout the country, Ireland and UK to support students and educators. Other boards I serve on include JMG, the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute and Thomas College. My husband teaches high school English, and one of my favorite things to do is cheer on the Greenville Lakers.
Cary has served on the GSP Board since 2008.
