Emily Gilmore is a senior associate with Great Schools Partnership. Prior to joining GSP, she worked at public and independent schools in Vermont and Oregon for nine years. Most recently, Emily was a social studies teacher at South Burlington High School, where she was awarded Staff Person of the Year in 2021 by the SBHS Student Council. In 2017, Emily was awarded a Rowland Fellowship to study and implement personalized, proficiency-based learning centering student voice. Emily studied secondary education and social sciences at the University of Vermont for her undergraduate degree, and earned her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. When not advocating for educational equity, Emily can be found in the company of her animals (two cats and a dog) and exploring the next best donut shop.
