Our Team

Kendra Carter is the Communications and Development Specialist at Great Schools Partnership. She has been in communications for over a decade, with experience spanning tech, real estate, and education sectors. Most recently, Kendra worked as the Education Marketing Coordinator at the Maine Department of Education, promoting programs created through pandemic funding. Her approach to communications is rooted in authenticity, clear messaging, and cohesive design.

Kendra is passionate about advocacy work grounded in human rights and intersectionality. A lifelong Mainer, Kendra grew up skiing the backwoods of Bethel, Maine, and working on her family farm. She attended Northern Vermont University, where she earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism and Visual Communications. Today, she lives in southern Maine with her husband and pets. Outside of work, Kendra enjoys cooking, writing, and practicing slow fashion.
