GSP Book Club: Diversifying the Educator Pipeline

Great Schools Partnership believes schools, school systems, and communities achieve educational equity when they ensure just outcomes for each student, raise marginalized voices, and challenge the imbalance of power and privilege.
The personal and professional stories laid out by author Dr. Shaylyn Marks in her book, Diversifying the Educator Pipeline: Supporting Black Educators Through Recruitment, Preparation, and Retention, are closely aligned with the Grounding Principles of GSP’s Diversifying the Educator Workforce Collaborative. Following a Black educator as they go through the life-cycle of a classroom teacher brings those principles and concepts to life, enriching and educating all of us who do this work.
We’re excited to announce that the author, Dr. Marks, will also join participants in a live discussion.
