Description: Join the Great Schools Partnership Community of Practice (CoP), where you can learn with and from colleagues around New England also engaging in school change. During our in-person kickoff, we will dive into the conditions necessary to center equity in decision-making, engage in shared learning, and plan for opportunities to put our ideas into action throughout the school year.
In our virtual CoP convenings, we will use collaborative structures to examine problems of practice, leverage data and find next steps that move your schools toward creating more equitable teaching and learning environments. We will also engage in collaborative structures that allow you to learn from authentic challenges and then share and apply the learning in your own setting.

Experiential Outcomes:

• Feel connected; maintain and deepen personal and professional relationships across the Community of Practice;
• Feel increased agency and collective momentum for realizing our Community of Practice intentions and goals.

Practical Outcomes:

• Relationship Building: Identify connections, exchange ideas, and foster professional relationships across schools
• Learning Together: Apply new learning and perspectives through collaboration, support, and critical inquiry 
• Sharing & Accessing Resources: Share resources, knowledge, best practices, and strategies for building inclusive and equitable schools and school systems
• Application: Build capacity of COP participants to design and lead school and systems change

Audience: Anyone who participates in the school community (teacher leaders, school counselors, and school or district leaders, family liaisons).

In-Person Dates & Times: This community of practice will meet in person on:

• Tuesday, July 23, 2024, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM, and Wednesday, July 24, 2024, 8:30 AM-12:30 PM, at Keene High School in Keene, New Hampshire.
• One day in March 2025. 8:30 AM -3:00 PM (specific date, city, and venue to be determined).

Virtual Dates & Times: This community of practice will also meet virtually via Zoom on:

• Thursday, September 26, 2024 @ 3:45-5:15 PM EST
• Thursday, November 21, 2024 @ 3:45-5:15 PM EST
